For the 13th consecutive year, Fortune has named Enterprise Holdings’ Pam Nicholson one of the Most Powerful Women in Business. Nicholson ranked No. 23 on the 2019 list. She is joined by Mary Barra, Chairman and CEO of General Motors, at No. 2.
AS CEO, Nicholson is recognized for her role in the company’s forward-looking strategy. Under her leadership the company has steadily increased revenue each year. Since joining Enterprise as a Management Trainee 38 years ago, she has achieved growth and success in every facet of the operation she has led.
The Most Powerful Women in Business list is compiled by Fortune editors who consider four criteria: the size and importance of the woman's business in the global economy, the health and direction of the business, the arc of the woman's career, and social and cultural influence.
