Easirent has continued the national expansion of its short-term car rental business by opening a branch near Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, the company announced Sept. 1.
"Opening our latest rental location iis a huge move for Easirent as we spread our network westward across the country,” said CEO Paul Hanley in a news release.
Overall, Easirent operates a fleet of more than 4,000 vehicles with 150 employees in 15 locations across four states.
Las Vegas is the company’s 15th corporate location in the U.S. Tania Beatty will manage the operation located at 8755 South Las Vegas Blvd, just off the I-15 and a few minutes from the airport.
The savings generated by locating Easirent branches near but not at airports is passed on to customers, Hanley said. Easrirent is eyeing more major markets.
Customers can choose from an array of vehicles: economy cars, family sedans, luxury cars and SUVs. All vehicles are bought new and sold before they reach 40,000 miles. Brands include Toyota, Nissan, VW, Volvo, GM, and Ford.
Easirent, based in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, has locations in Jacksonville, West Palm Beach, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, Orlando, Ft. Myers, Tampa, and St. Petersburg, all in Florida; Houston, Dallas, and Austin, all in Texas; Charlotte, N.C., and Las Vegas.
