Go Rentals, a car rental company specializing in the private aviation industry, announced on March 14 it has partnered with Beach Aviation Services to introduce planeside rental vehicle delivery at the airport in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Go Rentals and Beach Aviation unveiled the new location on March 1 at the Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) in response to the growing demand for premium travel services.
The new location serves as a crucial link connecting service from Charleston, South Carolina, to Wilmington, North Carolina, which complements the existing Go Rentals locations and paves the way for larger expansion throughout the Southern region.
Go Rentals also extended its services to Beach Aviation's other two locations in Horry County – Grand Strand Airport (CRE) and Conway Horry County Airport (HYW). This expansion provided guests with more options when traveling to the renowned golf capital of the world, boasting over 90 courses in the region.
Renowned for its beaches, vibrant music scene, and abundant restaurants, The Grand Strand area attracts golf enthusiasts, families, summer travelers, and spring breakers alike. The tourism sector in the region has seen a record-setting year for revenue in vacation rentals and hotels.
In response to the surging demand for travel to the area, Go Rentals is bringing its vehicles planeside to arriving customers at Beach Aviation Services through an aviation-trained concierge.
"Passengers and crew members can now enjoy the convenience of stepping into a rental car immediately after stepping off the plane, saving more time to enjoy the Grand Strand and everything our destination has to offer," said Judi Olmstead, director of airports at Beach Aviation Services, in a news release.
Go Rentals is an elite car rental service company, known as the only Forbes Travel Guide Elite Car Rental company. The company is also the only one specializing in the private jet industry since 1995. It has locations across the United States and the Hawaiian Islands, and service to over 100 airports and various fine hotels and resorts.
Trissy Pickett, Go Rentals’ vice president of aviation development, emphasized the service culture fostered at Go Rentals, where saying "no" is not an option.
“Our team is ready for customer service heroics at any given moment,” she said. “We will go to any length to ensure our guests are happy –– that includes crew, pilots, dispatchers, and aviation departments.”
