The management of the car rental companies NextCar, Priceless, and Rent-A-Wreck recently completed a restructuring among those corporate entities under the new NPR Auto Group umbrella.
Before the official merger on July 15, Bundy American LLC and NP Franchise Group operated as separate entities providing support for Rent-A-Wreck, NextCar, and Priceless franchises, while other companies managed the reservation system, proprietary ASAP software, and the Rent-A-Wreck corporate store in Baltimore, Maryland. Bundy American is the franchisor for Rent-A-Wreck.
The merger aims to improve internal efficiency within the various companies
As of July 15, all these entities operate under one company, which has been renamed NPR Auto Group, LLC. This new company will now act as the franchisor of the rental car brands Nextcar, Priceless and Rent-A-Wreck, operate their reservation and proprietary ASAP software systems, and continue running the Rent-A-Wreck store in Baltimore.
The officers of NPR Auto Group include:
President: Mike DeLorenzo
Vice President: Jason Manelli
Treasurer: Ron Jaffe
Secretary: Meredith Jackson
Assistant Treasurer: Annette Chong
NPR Auto Group is a wholly owned subsidiary of JJF Fitzgerald Auto, and a part of the Fitzgerald family of companies that serve multiple segments of customers, franchise owners, and stakeholders.
Fitzgerald is also the parent of AllCar Leasing, the operator of the original 14 NextCar stores in Maryland, including Baltimore-Washington International Airport.
Allcar and NextCar are the largest independent car rental companies in the mid-Atlantic region, having operated car rental stores there since 1969.
NPR AutoGroup and All Car Leasing are headquartered in Laurel, Maryland.
