SIXT Unveils Starting Five Los Angeles Lakers Wrapped Vehicles

These five custom and iconic vehicles will enter SIXT's rental fleet at LAX for car rental customers starting March 15.

SIXT USA, a subsidiary of Sixt SE unveiled an exclusive starting five vehicle activation on Feb. 24 to celebrate its sponsorship with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Five custom-wrapped Lakers jersey-inspired Toyota Grand Highlanders debuted during the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Orlando Magic home game, bringing a memorable transportation experience to Los Angeles.

The starting five represents SIXT's commitment to Lakers fans and strengthening its connection to the Los Angeles region. Through this collaboration, the custom-wrapped vehicles will highlight iconic Lakers jerseys that resonate with fans throughout the city.

“The Los Angeles Lakers represent the excellence, legacy, and energy of Los Angeles – a city where sport, culture, and lifestyle intersect,” said Tom Kennedy, President, SIXT North America, in a news release. “Through the starting five collaboration, SIXT celebrates this iconic franchise while delivering a premium mobility experience that matches the rhythm of the city – dynamic, aspirational, and always moving. This activation is about connecting with fans in a way that reflects how they live, travel, and show up for their team every day.”

The SIXT starting five Toyota Grand Highlanders lineup includes: 

  • The Hollywood Nights – Hit the streets in this sleek black number. This car honors some of the Lakers' biggest fans from the big screen.

  • The Statement Car – Bold purple and gold command attention, from the striking door panels to gleaming gold trim, this isn’t just a car, it’s a statement.

  • The City Car – This is the California dream. Featuring the Lakers' iconic triangle wordmark, this car is a nod to the past with the style of the future.

  • The Showtime Car – Grab the wheel and embody an enduring legacy. This car symbolizes evolution.

  • The Icon Car – Lakers gold stands for wisdom, excellence, and championship tradition. This car is in the pursuit of greatness.

The five vehicles will enter SIXT's rental fleet at LAX for customer availability beginning March 15. These custom and iconic vehicles ensure Lakers fans and Los Angeles visitors have access to a distinctive, championship-inspired transportation option that enhances their LA experience.

SIXT's rental car fleet, from coupes, sedans to luxury SUVs, provides premium options at competitive rates, whether for business travel, leisure, or special occasions.
