With a 75% customer score, Economy Car Hire took the No. 1 spot for overall customer service for the second time in a survey conducted by U.K.-based customer organization Which?

In addition, Economy was the only car rental company to receive the full five stars in the "clarity of pricing" category.

Economy’s prices include full collision damage and theft protection, a free additional driver and unlimited mileage, says the company.

The Which? car rental survey ranks companies in categories such as ease of booking online, clarity of information, the range of cars offered, customer service and an overall customer score.

“We are always looking for ways to improve our service, and customer feedback plays a key role in that process,” says Rory Sexton, Economy’s managing director. “We are very proud of our success in this year’s Which? report and hope to not only keep up the good work but aim for even better results next year.”

Which? conducted the online survey with 2,246 members who used a car rental company in the 12 months prior to November 2013. The survey compared six car rental companies, including Argus Car Hire, Auto Europe, Carhire3000/Rentalcars.com, Do You Spain, Economy Car Hire and Holiday Autos.
