Avis Budget Group today announced that Avis Car Rental and Budget Car Rental are offering customers across Canada vehicles equipped with winter tires.  

These vehicles are available in Quebec, as required by law, and on certain vehicles at select corporate Avis and Budget locations in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa and Atlantic Canada.

“Although the standard Mud and Snow (M+S) all-weather tires provided on our Avis and Budget vehicles are adequate, we know that some customers prefer to rent a vehicle equipped with winter tires,” said Bill Boxberger, vice president and general manager, Canada, Avis Budget Group. “For this reason, we offer such vehicles so that we can continue to meet all our customers’ mobility needs.”
