Singapore’s first electric carsharing service has amassed more than 3,300 registered users since it launched Dec. 12, 2017, according to Channel News Asia.

Within the first three weeks of operation, BlueSG logged more than 5,000 rentals on its fleet of 80 vehicles. BlueSG officials said they plan to introduce 1,000 electric vehicles and 2,000 charging points in Singapore by 2020.

Currently, the rental operator has 32 charging stations located throughout the city-state.

Renters can choose from two subscription plans, weekly or monthly. Rental rates are determined by the duration of the rental period, rather than the distance.
