Enterprise Holdings, which currently operates the largest rental fleet in Canada, is celebrating its 25th anniversary in the country, the company announced.

Through a network of over 750 airports and neighborhood locations, Enterprise Holdings contributed $2.8 billion to the Canadian economy last year. The rental giant also purchased 4.3% of all new vehicles sold in Canada at a total cost of $2.3 billion.

"When we started out in Canada we faced some challenges, but our employees never compromised," StevenTudela, corporate VP of Canadian Operations, said in a press release. "That's why we've seen success in Canada for the past 25 years, and why we will continue to be leaders in the transportation industry, especially as new mobility technologies evolve."

Employing 5,400 Canadians, Enterprise was named as one of The Best Places to Work in Canada by job-finding website Indeed, and was named as one of the best employers in the Greater Toronto Area by Mediacorp Canada.
