To celebrate the company's 100-year anniversary, Hertz Europe launched free, mobile Wi-Fi and other exclusive benefits for qualifying car rentals in more than 200 locations across Europe.

The 4G Internet connection is provided alongside free international calls of up to 30 minutes a day, a translation tool, and city guides from selected locations in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Hertz customers can access the services via the Hertz Connect portable device.

Customers from the U.S. and participating countries in Europe and Asia Pacific can access the benefits by booking their rental on the Hertz website as a Hertz Gold Plus Rewards member and spend a minimum of $250 in U.S. dollars, euros, or pounds.

Hertz Gold Plus Rewards members can also now cancel their rental up to two days ahead of pick-up without incurring any charge. Other program perks include the ability to skip the counter in over 50 airport branches worldwide, including an additional driver at no extra cost, a 25% discount on child seats, reward points earned on every trip, and year-round discounts on Hertz website bookings.
