Lyft will offer free and discounted rides to underserved communities on Election Day Nov. 6 as an effort to increase voter turnout, the company announced.

The ride-hailing service said it will partner with organizations such as Vote.org, Nonprofit Vote, and TurboVote to distribute half-priced discount codes to riders, and nonpartisan, nonprofit partners such as Voto Latino, local Urban League affiliates, the National Federation for the Blind to provide free rides to underserved communities.
