Europcar Mobility Group has chosen Colm Brady as its new managing director for Ireland. Brady will begin his new role on Nov. 1, taking over from current CEO Colm Menton.

This appointment falls in line with the acceleration of the Group’s global transformation path. Since 2014, Europcar has diversified its offering at an international level beyond the historical car rental business.

The Group has moved from being a car rental specialist to a global provider of mobility solutions with a wide range of services: vehicles rental, chauffeur services, carsharing, scooter-sharing, and peer-to-peer carsharing. Reflecting this transformation, the Europcar Group changed its name to Europcar Mobility Group in May 2018.

Working with Europcar Group for over 17 years, Brady previously held the position of business development director alongside Menton, playing an integral role in the growth and success of the business in Ireland and serving as managing director of GoCar, Ireland’s only carsharing service and one of the brands of the Europcar Mobility Group now diversified portfolio.

In his new position, Brady will focus on helping Europcar Mobility Group to develop in Ireland, providing individuals and businesses across the country with easy access, barrier-free, and cost effective mobility solutions.
