Sixt has received the Digital Communication Award (DCA) for its operations in Europe. The international mobility service provider took first place in the “Influencer Communications” category ahead of renowned competition.
The award ceremony took place in Berlin and was attended by numerous guests from the communication sector and representatives of several European companies. Quadriga University, an international university for communication management and public affairs based in Berlin, has hosted the DCA since 2011. The award honors industry-leading online communication across Europe and is presented to companies for especially innovative projects, strategies, and campaigns in digital communication. An independent jury of international communication experts from institutions, enterprises, universities, and other organizations determines individual category winners.

The mobility service provider is also globally unique in the quality of its storytelling, generating both scope and content while positioning itself as an influencer marketing pioneer.
Besides the DCA, Quadriga University also awards the German Prize for Online Communication. Sixt previously received this recognition in 2015 for "Best Social Media Team" in the company category.
