Fabrizio Ruggiero, deputy CEO, Europcar Mobility Group, will deliver the keynote address at the 2020 International Car Rental Show, taking place March 22-24 at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas.
In his address, “Mobility is Changing, and So Are We!” Ruggiero will outline how Europcar is transforming into a mobility service company and challenge the ICRS audience to rethink car rental as car ownership gives way to a sharing economy. Ruggiero will also communicate Europcar’s strategy for the U.S. market.
In addition to his deputy CEO duties, Ruggiero is also head of Business Units and member of the Europcar Management Board. Prior to Europcar, Ruggiero held management positions at Leasys, a leader in the car leasing business in Italy, as well as Bain & Company Italy and Accenture.
“We are honored to bring Fabrizio Ruggiero of Europcar to our main stage at the 2020 International Car Rental Show, our 25th anniversary,” said Chris Brown, conference chair and executive editor of Auto Rental News.
“Europcar has instituted innovative mobility solutions in Europe, which is advancing quickly in terms of reimaging the transportation ecosystem,” Brown continued. “As well, with Europcar’s purchase of Fox Rent A Car, we are eager to hear how the company will position its brand and services in the U.S.”
The keynote address will convene at 11am on Monday, March 23. Registration for the 2020 conference is now open. The full agenda for the 25th anniversary International Car Rental Show will be posted in mid-December.
