Europcar Mobillity Group has launched the "Together" program, in order to support the mobility of health care staff in light of the COVID-19 crisis.

In France, as part of the "Together" program, Europcar Mobility Group will provide healthcare personnel (doctors, nursers, etc.) with access to a pool of 200 vehicles for their occasional mobility needs, without rental fees. In addition, the Group's French subsidiary will stand in solidarity with hospitals by offering medium-term rental solutions for their staff.

This program will be rolled out across Europe, as well as in other countries around the world where Europcar Mobility Group operates with its own subsidiaries.

The Group's car rental brands — Europcar, Goldcar, and InterRent — as well as the GoCar carsharing service, will offer healthcare personnel increased mobility and transport possibilities. Health care staff who require the use of a vehicle will be able to contact some selected stations or a local call center (click here), which will guide them through the process.

As part of this program, the Group will also work in partnership with food retailers and temporary staff agencies to offer a rental service of light commercial vehicles with drivers, to help meet the increased demand for logistics and delivery services in countries under lockdown or with stringent social-distancing measures. Discussions are already taking place in France and in Germany.

Any vehicle, driven under this scheme will be subject to rigorous cleaning and disinfection measures after each rental, as well as ‘zero contact’ policy with Europcar Mobility Group employees in stations. The same stringent policy applies to rentals of any kind across the Group, until further notice.
