Avis Budget Group Selects Allstate as Exclusive Provider of Roadside Assistance

Avis and Budget renters will benefit from Allstate Roadside Services' Two-Way Towing feature, which ensures a replacement vehicle is delivered via tow truck to the customer's location in the event of a breakdown.

Allstate Roadside Services announced that it has been selected by Avis Budget Group Inc., as the exclusive provider of emergency roadside assistance services to Avis Rent A Car and Budget Rent A Car customers across the United States.

“We are extremely pleased that Avis Budget Group has chosen Allstate Roadside Services to provide our industry-leading roadside assistance capabilities to its rental customers,” said Patrick O’Brien, president of Allstate Roadside Services. “With nearly 50 years of roadside assistance experience, Allstate Roadside Services offers a combination of people, process and technology to deliver the peace of mind that Avis and Budget customers expect when they rent a vehicle.” Allstate Roadside Services has a network of approximately 38,000 towing service providers nationwide, available to offer 24-hour towing, battery boost, flat tire change, lock out assistance and fuel delivery.

Avis and Budget renters will also benefit from the convenience of Allstate Roadside Services’ innovative Two-Way Towing feature, which ensures a replacement vehicle is delivered via tow truck to the customer’s location in the event of a breakdown. This feature offers customers the convenience of continuing their journey without returning to a rental location to obtain a replacement.
