Enterprise Rent-A-Car was honored with the highest rankings on Diversity Employer Magazine’s list of “Top 100 Largest Employers.”

Diversity Employer’s creates the list annually based on the hiring projections of major national employers that recruit entry-level talent on college and university campuses. This year, Enterprise was recognized for its 8,500 hires from 800 campuses in 2012 alone.

College graduates are able to participate in Enterprises’ Management Training Program. The program was designed by the company to provide new hires with on-the-job training to develop the essential knowledge, skills and judgment for a successful career.

Following the participation in the program, entry-level management trainees are promoted to assistant branch manager where their pay is based primarily on the profits of the local branch as a way for the employees to align their performance with success.

“Enterprise’s on-campus recruiting efforts typically go beyond our participation in the career fair,” said Marie Artim, Enterprise vice president of talent acquisition. “For example, we conduct on-campus business development seminars to arm college graduates with the knowledge and tools they need to launch their careers.”
