“All things being equal — the mentally tough win every time," advises Dr. Craig Manning, author, pro tennis player, coach and Olympic sports psychology consultant. But how do you get there?

Prior to entering a career in sports psychology, Dr. Manning played for the Brigham Young University’s men's tennis team and served as the BYU women's head tennis coach for 10 years. Holding a bachelor’s degree in psychology from BYU, as well as a master’s degree in psychology and a doctorate in sports psychology from the University of Utah, Manning has consulted to the U.S. Olympic ski team and countless professional athletes.

Manning will guide attendees of the 2014 Car Rental Show through his “The Fearless Mind” methodology, which uses proven scientific curriculum built around the psychological principles of the mind to help maximize human efficiencies.

“We’re delighted to have Dr. Manning address our audience,” said Chris Brown, executive editor of Auto Rental News. “His message is designed to build confidence, expel anxiety, increase efficiencies and accelerate productivity as well as overall profitability. We could all benefit from that.”

The session, titled “Engineering High Performance,” serves as the Tuesday morning breakfast keynote address.

In addition, Dr. Manning will be available in person at the PurCo Fleet Services booth on the exhibit floor, where CRS attendees can obtain a copy of his book, “The Fearless Mind,” for free.

The 2014 Car Rental Show takes place April 7-8, 2013 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Visit www.carrentalshow.com for more information.
