According to a recent survey, AAA Travel was able to determine the top summer vacation destinations based on popularity among American families.
Orlando, Fla.; Honolulu; Rome; London; and Anaheim, Calif. made the list for top land vacation destinations.
The top cruise destinations are the Caribbean, Alaska, Bahamas, Europe and Bermuda. Also, Cruise Lines International Association and data from the AAA survey predict that cruise bookings will increase by nearly 1 million in 2012.
Lastly, China, Peru, the Galapagos, the Amazon and India were the top "exotic" vacation destinations.
