Advantage Rent A Car announces the conversion of some of its bus fleet to compressed natural gas (CNG). The shuttle buses transport Advantage customers from airport terminals to car-rental locations.

CNG is a substitute for gasoline or diesel fuel considered to be an environmentally clean alternative and is quickly becoming one of the major fuel sources in vehicles throughout the world.

Advantage’s new buses will feature a wider entry door offering a safer entrance and exit for their passengers. Key safety highlights for this Ford E series cutaway bus include a steel-reinforced composite body, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, assist grab handles on the left and right of the entry door and a reverse alarm.

Additionally, this all-new fleet of buses will sport a new design in keeping with the company-wide re-imaging campaign.
