SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- Advantage Rent-A-Car is celebrating its 40th anniversary by giving away such prizes as free car rental days, CDs, rounds of golf, hotel stays, phone cards and more.
In the company's newest promotion, "Advantage Turning 40 Giveaway," every 40th customer wins a prize through July 10.
"We wanted to celebrate our 40th anniversary in business by thanking our customers for their patronage," said Advantage CEO James P. Walker. "We have a new fleet of 2003/2004 Daimler Chrysler cars, the best team of people in the car rental industry, and we're extremely proud of all of our accomplishments."
Each time an entry is processed, either by a rental transaction or write-in, a counter will assign the entry a number of 1-40. If the entry number is 40, that customer is a winner. Prizes are selected at random from a pool of more than 4,000 prizes.
Promotional partners for "Advantage Turning 40 Giveaway" include Best Western, Sea World of Texas, and Tapatio Springs Golf Resort and Conference Center.
