Alamo and National Open in Five Brazilian Airports
Under a new agreement with car rental operator Unidas, Alamo and National will be available at more than 100 Brazil locations by March 2013.
Alamo Rent A Car and National Car Rental entered a 15-year agreement on Sept. 18 with Brazil-based car rental operator Unidas to serve customers in Brazil.
Five Brazilian airports including Guarulhos International Airport in São Paulo; Galeao Antonio Carlos Jobim International Airport in Rio de Janeiro; Tancredo Neves/Confins International Airport in Belo Horizonte; Brasilia International Airport in Brasilia; and Salgado Filho International Airport in Porto Alegre will be the home of the new Alamo and National locations.
“We are pleased to introduce the Alamo and National brands to the Brazilian market with the opening of these first five locations,” said Greg Stubblefield, executive VP of global sales, marketing and strategy for Enterprise Holdings. “This partnership with Unidas – a company that strongly shares our belief in customer service – both expands travelers’ options and presents tremendous growth opportunities for all three brands throughout Latin America.”
