Alamo Rent A Car Opens Branch at Disney Resort & Spa in Hawaii

Alamo offers electric vehicles to customers at Disney's newest family resort destination located at Ko Olina on the island of Oahu.

Alamo Rent A Car announced Nov. 29 the opening of a branch serving customers at the new Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa at Ko Olina on the island of Oahu, according to a press release.

"Alamo Rent A Car is pleased to have the opportunity to provide low rates and quick, convenient service to Disney's Aulani Resort customers," said Paul Kopel, VP and GM for Alamo Rent A Car in Hawaii. "And for the first time, Alamo is offering electric vehicles (EVs) at a branch location, offering this new vehicle technology to travelers on their Hawaiian vacation getaways."

Disney has installed numerous EV charging ports and green parking stalls at Aulani, specifically designed for charging multiple EVs. Along with two EVs, the Alamo branch at Aulani is equipped with a full range of vehicles including convertibles and SUVs.

Alamo is the official rental car provider for Walt Disney Travel Co. Inc., one of the country's largest tour operators, specializing in Disney vacation packages to Southern California and Central Florida. Alamo is the only car rental company with a rental branch office on-site at Walt Disney World Resort at the Disney Car Care Center, and on-site at Disneyland Resort at Downtown Disney.
