AllCar Rent-A-Car Lowers Rental Rates Due to New York School Bus Strike
AllCar Rent-A-Car said it will keep the lowered rates until the strike is over.
AllCar Rent-A-Car announced discounted rates on hourly car rentals for parents and school operators in New York, in response to the New York City school bus strike on Jan. 28.
Car rental rates have been lowered to $19.99 and the deposit requirement has been lowered to $150 for a four-hour rental. Normally a deposit at AllCar is $300, according to Gil Cygler, president of AllCar.
AllCar will maintain the discounted rates until a resolution is reached between the school bus drivers and the City of New York. As of this writing, the strike will continue as reported by CBS New York.
New York City residents can reserve their rental vehicle online at www.allcarrentacar.com or over the phone.
