The Membership Rewards program allows American Express Cardmembers to earn one point for virtually every dollar charged on eligible and enrolled American Express® Cards, according to the company. The points are then redeemable in a wide selection of reward categories, including travel, retail merchandise, shopping, and recreation gift certificates and charity rewards.
The new Membership Rewards and Membership Rewards Plus retail partners are Bergdorf Goodman, Brooks Brothers, Callaway Golf, Country Road, Oreck, Richard Petty Driving Experience, The Right Start and Swiss Army brands. The new Membership Rewards and Membership Rewards Plus travel partners are Alitalia Airlines, Air Aruba, Disney Cruise Line, Frontier Airlines, Midway Airlines, Omni Hotels, Pro Air, Qantas, South African Airways and Sun Country Airlines.
Car rental companies participating in American Express’ Rewards programs include Avis, Budget, Hertz and National.
