ATLANTA -- American Van Rental, one of the largest specialty vehicle rental businesses in the Southeast, will celebrate its 10-year anniversary next month.
John Quick, founder and president, started the parent company of American Van Rental in 1992 with one employee and 12 vehicles. Today, American Van Rental is a multi-million-dollar business with more than 25 employees and more than 300 vehicles. The company has two Atlanta-area locations. A third location is scheduled to open later this year.
The minority-owned company has maintained a strong commitment to the Atlanta business community.
"We support numerous philanthropic organizations in the Atlanta market and outside of Atlanta as well," Quick said. These include Prevent Child Abuse Georgia, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Red Cross and Haney's Harvest House.
