New locations expand New Zealand-based brand, owned by Avis Budget Group, into Western Hemisphere.

Apex Car Rentals has launched operations in the Cayman Islands and Costa Rica, the company reports. The new facilities are located at Owen-Roberts International Airport in Grand Cayman and San Jose International Airport in Costa Rica.
"We are pleased to deliver against our strategic objective and expand the award-winning Apex brand from New Zealand into the Western hemisphere with the help of our licensees," said Patric Siniscalchi, president, Latin America/Asia-Pacific, Avis Budget Group.
Apex Car Rentals in Grand Cayman and Costa Rica are operated by independently-owned licensees of Avis Budget Group.
Apex recently opened new car rental locations at Australia's major airports in Brisbane, Cairns, Gold Coast, Melbourne and Sydney.
