The Atlanta City Council approved a deal between Atlanta and the city of College Park to collect auto rental taxes through 2047, according to a report by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The agreement is expected to raise at least $110 million in funds that will be used to help renovate Philips, Atlanta’s downtown sports and entertainment complex, which includes Philips Arena, says the report.

College Park was required to sign off on the deal because car rental locations at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport will be the source of revenue for the tax collections, according to the report.
