ATS Fleet Services Acquires Rent A Toll
American Traffic Solutions (ATS) Fleet Services, a provider of fleet toll and violation management systems, has acquired all the assets of Rent A Toll, a toll management solutions provider to rental car companies.
American Traffic Solutions (ATS) Fleet Services, a provider of fleet toll and violation management systems, has acquired all the assets of Rent A Toll. Based in Carrollton, Texas, Rent A Toll is a provider of toll management solutions to rental car companies and corporate fleets.
Rent A Toll personnel will join ATS Fleet Services, including president and CEO Rick Welch, according to the company.
“Everyone at Rent A Toll is excited to join the world class organization at ATS Fleet Services,” said Welch. “Since 2004, Rent A Toll has worked to provide excellent toll payment solutions to fleets and rental car companies throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. Combining the two companies’ strengths, teams and technologies will cultivate even higher levels of customer service and continued expansion of our solutions to additional U.S. toll markets.”

This acquisition will broaden ATS’s offers and reach.”
ATS operates 3,200 red-light and speed safety cameras in 21 states and Washington, D.C. It's toll management unit, ATS Fleet Services, processes 36 million toll transactions and 850,000 violations each year.
