Conrac Solutions Project Delivery, the lead developer of the Austin-Bergstrom consolidated rental car facility, received the award for “Best Industrial Project” from the Commercial Real Estate Awards in central Texas.

The 1.6 million-square-foot Austin facility includes 48 fueling stations, 12 car washes and 11 rental car brands, and was constructed to LEED Silver standards.

Conrac Solutions Project Delivery led pre-development, financing, deal terms and construction of the facility in coordination with Demattei Wong Architecture and Austin Commercial. Conrac Solutions also supported the asset manager and design team with operational considerations for the project in addition to overseeing activation and subsequent fueling and operations after the facility’s Oct. 2015 opening.

“The collective expertise of the Conrac Solutions family of companies allowed us to take on the complexity and challenges presented by a project of this caliber,” says Conrac Solutions CEO Desiree Pfeffer. “We are grateful to be recognized for the culmination of a six-year effort, which opened on time and under budget.”

The Commercial Real Estate Awards recognizes the people and projects that exemplify best practices in building and development and have had the biggest impact on community in central Texas. The event honored projects completed in 2015.
