These tables and graph show the average of all base rate quotes per day for an ICAR at the six airports shown for arrivals 15 to 21 days ahead of the date of the survey, for 2 and 7 day rentals. If the arrival date is a Friday or Saturday, the two-day rate will be a weekend rate, otherwise it will be a regular rate.

City average rates continue to drift down since the Nov. 6 analysis, as one would expect going into the slow season in most of the country. A closer look at the individual cities shows Chicago — and to a lesser extent Los Angeles — is down significantly; Boston is up; and Miami, Houston and Seattle changed very little.

The 11/4 pull was the highest of the month, then down for the next 2 with a $2.19 uptick on the 11/25 pull, which is for pickup from Dec 10th to 16th. This could indicate a strong Christmas season. Individual cities, especially Miami, Chicago and Houston, were quite volatile.
