PARSIPPANY, N.J. -- Avis Rent a Car System is launching a free child safety seat promotion and adding 12-passenger vans at locations nationwide.
PARSIPPANY, N.J. -- Just in time for summer vacation planning, Avis Rent a Car System is launching a free child safety seat promotion and adding 12-passenger vans at locations nationwide.
Renters of a minivan, SUV or 12-passenger van can receive up to three free child safety seats with each rental -- a $150 value. In addition, Avis has published a brochure that offers tips on safe travel and how to keep kids entertained while on the road. The safety tips are also available at www.avis.com/familysafety.
"By offering families free child safety seats with rentals of bigger vehicles, Avis is helping to make summer travel less stressful and more fun," said Scott Deaver, executive vice president of marketing for Cendant Car Rental Group, parent of Avis.
Details about the child safety seat promotion are available at www.avis.com/familysafety. Advance reservations are required, and customers need to mention coupon #UUWA009 when booking a car. The coupon may be printed at www.avis.com/familysafety and must be surrendered at time of rental. Rentals need to begin by September 5, 2005.
