Avis Announces Canadian Rate Increase
PARSIPPANY, N.J. --- Avis Rent A Car LLC has set in motion a three- to five-percent rate increase on all retail rates in Canada.
PARSIPPANY, N.J. --- Avis Rent A Car LLC has set in motion a three- to five-percent rate increase on all retail rates in Canada.
Effective immediately, Avis locations in the greater Montreal area, excluding Pierre Eliot Trudeau International, will increase all retail rental rates including daily and weekly rentals. With the exception of Jean Lesage International Airport, the increase will also apply to all Quebec City locations, raising weekly and weekend rates. The price increases offset higher fleet, fuel and interest costs that Avis has experienced in recent months, the company said.
