Avis Budget Group released a report on its many environmental initiatives currently in place around the world.

Nelson, Avis Budget Group chairman and CEO. "Our focus on substantive efforts ensures that our stakeholders can trust that we are always looking to do the right thing with respect to our use of natural resources."

As far as the company’s operations, Avis established the Environmental Management Systems for its locations in accordance with ISO 14001 international standards to measure environmental impacts and implement plans for managing and reducing these impacts.

The company breaks down its environmental initiatives into five categories: operations, fleet, outreach, compliance and reduction.
