Avis Budget Group Inc. has announced that it intends to hire 1,500 employees during a national day of hiring event on June 22.
The company is looking for career-minded individuals to fill part-time positions at Avis Car Rental, Budget Car Rental, and Payless Car Rental locations across the United States, according to Avis Budget.
"Avis Budget Group is a fun and rewarding place to work," said Ned Linnen, Avis Budget Group’s executive vice president and chief human resources officer. "Our hope is that job seekers will consider a role at Avis Budget Group, where they will be challenged to grow and develop in their careers every day."
The national day of hiring will include local events at many Avis, Budget, and Payless locations. Prospective employees can find a hiring event close to them by visiting Avis Budget Group's career site at avisbudgetgroup.jobs and clicking on the "#NationalHiringDay" banner or by searching for jobs within the site.
