India's National Tourism Awards honored Avis Car Rental of India as the top “Tourist Transport Operator” for 2010-2011 — the country’s most popular award in the travel industry.
The award, established by India’s Ministry of Tourism, was designed to recognize companies for their ability to promote travel and their earnings based on business with travel agents, tour operators and hotels throughout India.
Avis India provides customers with its many services including chauffeur service, vehicle damage coverage and personal property packages, in addition to its range of vehicles from Toyota, Honda and Mercedes.
Avis operates 41 rental facilities throughout India along with pick-up and drop-off services at major airports, such as Bengaluru International Airport in Bangalore, Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, and Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai.
Avis Car Rental Receives India’s Top Tourism Award
The car rental company was recognized by the Ministry of Tourism.
