Avis Celebrates 100,000 ‘Select & Go’ Transactions
After launching its vehicle selection service for Avis Preferred members in June, Avis has reached 100,000 transactions. The service allows members to keep, exchange or upgrade their pre-assigned rental vehicle before driving away.
Avis Car Rental announced Feb. 7 that Avis Preferred Select & Go has exceeded 100,000 vehicle exchange transactions since its launch in June.
At the time of pick up, the company's vehicle selection service allows Avis Preferred members to keep and drive away in their pre-assigned rental vehicle, exchange their car — at no additional charge — by selecting another one from the designated area or upgrade their vehicle for an additional charge by choosing a specialty car or SUV from the designated area.
Select & Go is available at 40 airport locations in the United States.
“Select & Go was designed to enhance the customer experience and give renters control over the vehicle selection process,” said Gina Bruzzichesi, Avis Budget Group senior vice president, customer experience. “We’re thrilled that Avis Preferred members have enthusiastically embraced the service and that our continued commitment to such customer-focused initiatives is paying off.”
