PARSIPPANY, N.J. -- Now through Nov. 30, U.S. travel agencies will receive a $50 cash reward instead of the standard $25 each time they enroll a new small or mid-sized business client into Avis' Corporate Awards program.
In addition to the cash reward, agencies will receive 10% commission and a free rental day coupon. All reward payments are made after the new account completes its first rental. The 10% commission doubles the standard 5% commission and is paid on rentals booked during the account's first year of participation in the program.
Enrollment in the Avis "Corporate Awards" program is free and offers small and mid-sized business accounts a host of benefits, including special corporate rates, free rental days, a toll-free service number and free Avis Preferred service.
"At Avis we're committed to delivering programs that offer enhanced benefits to travel professionals," says Gerard Quirk, vice president, global travel sales and marketing for Avis. "With the Double Rewards promotion, everyone wins. Travel agencies profit from the License to Sell program, and their clients benefit from the Corporate Awards plan."
Travel agents can enroll their clients by calling 1-800-222-2847, by accessing Avis keyword "CORP" in GDS systems, or by visiting avisagent.com (Avis' dedicated travel agent Web site).
