Avis Manager Arrested for Stealing Cars

A former manager at a Louisville, Ky., Avis rental operation is accused of stealing rental cars, Louisville Metro Police told Wave 3 News.
According to the Wave News report, Kevin Carlson was arrested for stealing at least two cars from Avis Budget Group between July 1 and Aug. 31.
Carlson confessed to taking two cars and giving one to his girlfriend to drive. She was arrested while driving one of the stolen vehicles on Aug. 22, while the other car was found in Carlson’s garage, police told Wave News.
Because Carlson didn’t have permission to take the rental vehicles, Carlson is being charged with two counts of theft by unlawful taking.
