At a recent awards ceremony in Auckland, Avis Car Rental was honored as "Leading Rental Car Company" by readers of Travel Digest, a New Zealand travel industry magazine.
Now in its seventh year, the Travel Industry Awards includes votes from professionals across the industry: travel companies, travel agencies, tour and hospitality operators and tourism companies.
"Travel Digest's Travel Industry Award is one of the highest achievements for a New Zealand travel company," said Larry De Shon, president, International, Avis Budget Group. "We're delighted that readers have selected Avis as the top car rental provider. This award is a testament to our unwavering commitment to service excellence and putting the customer first.'"
Additionally, Avis New Zealand was named the "Most Trusted Car Rental brand in New Zealand" in the 2014 Readers Digest Trusted Brands survey, says the company.
Avis New Zealand serves customers at 35 locations across the country, including Auckland, Queenstown, Christchurch, Rotorua and Tauranga.
