Avis Offers EcoHangers for Frequent Travelers
The new service is available at select U.S. airports and allows frequent travelers to keep their garments wrinkle-free in their rental by way of eco-friendly hangers.
Avis Rent A Car announced Feb. 17 that its most loyal customers now have a convenient and eco-friendly way to keep their coats, suit jackets or other garments wrinkle-free in their rental vehicle. The company is offering hangers made of 100 percent recycled and recyclable material at nine Avis airport locations in the United States to members of its Avis Preferred and Avis First programs.
The EcoHangers®, from Hanger Network In-Home Marketing Solutions, are available while supplies last at select U.S. airport locations, including: Atlanta, Detroit Metropolitan, Las Vegas, Newark Liberty, Phoenix, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington Dulles.
As an added benefit, the hangers, which are made from post-consumer recycled paper and the plastic caps from water/soda bottles and which use vegetable dye and non-toxic glues, feature special offers exclusively for Avis Preferred and Avis First customers. Now through June 15, members can enjoy a third weekend day free or $50 off a weekly rental when they utilize the coupon code on the hanger and use an American Express Card to pay for their rental.
Avis also offers car rental deals on one way and weekend car rentals at select airport and neighborhood locations.
