Avis Car Rental has announced a promotion for members of its Avis Preferred program, the company’s express rental/loyalty program.
Through the end of January, Avis Preferred members who rent in Florida will earn double Avis Preferred Points. This means they receive two points for every dollar they spend on vehicle rentals, according to Avis.
With Avis’ Preferred Points program, members generally earn one point for every dollar they spend on vehicle rentals and two points for every dollar they spend on optional products (such as GPS or satellite radio). The points can then be redeemed for complimentary Avis rental days, upgrades, and select optional products.
Avis preferred members are also offered express rental and can skip the counter in many locations to go directly to their rental car. Members can use an app for their car rental.
