Avis Partners with Norwegian Cruise Line
Under this agreement, Avis Budget Group will offer Norwegian Cruise Line travelers special offers on rental cars.
Avis Budget Group Inc. and Norwegian Cruise Line have announced a multi-year marketing partnership agreement.
Under this exclusive agreement, Avis Car Rental and Budget Car Rental will offer travelers special car rental offers. In addition, Avis Car Rental will be featured as part of pre-cruise tour packages for Norwegian Cruise Line guests sailing on Norwegian Getaway, the line's newest ship.
Launching in February, Norwegian Getaway will sail Eastern Caribbean voyages. The Avis pre-cruise tour packages will be available to travel agents and guests via Norwegian Cruise Line's reservation call center, says Avis.
"Norwegian Cruise Line has a track record of delivering a high-quality cruise experience," said Stephen Wright, vice president of global travel and partnerships, Avis Budget Group. "This new partnership will allow us to capture incremental volume from travelers looking to maximize their vacations with the convenience that only a rental car can provide."
