Avis Partners with ViaVan for London Ride-Hailing

Avis Budget Group is partnering with rideshare brand ViaVan, the joint venture between Via and Mercedes-Benz Vans, as it launches a pilot of its on-demand shared transport service in Milton Keynes, London.
Avis Budget Group will provide eight-seater vans for ViaVan’s Milton Keynes launch as well as a weekly mobile wash and clean service.
Through the ViaVan app, passengers are seamlessly matched in real time with other riders travelling in the same direction, sharing their trip in a professionally-chauffeured van.
The collaboration with ViaVan marks another partnership between Avis Budget Group and innovative companies as it evolves its business to meet the opportunities presented by a future where mobility is completely connected, integrated, on-demand, shared, and is delivered to both consumers and businesses as a service.
The expansion of the service into Milton Keynes follows the successful launch of ViaVan in London in April this year, which brought the innovative shared transportation solution to the Capital.
