Avis Rent A Car this week launched Club Red 2001, this year's edition of the rental car company's incentive program for travel agents. The program rewards travel agents with $5 for every qualifying weekend or weekly rental that includes a Saturday.
Club Red members earn $5 for qualifying rentals at all Avis locations in the U.S. and Canada, regardless of whether the booking is for leisure, business or the government. Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands also qualify, as do many European destinations. Agents can enroll in Club Red at the Avis travel agent-dedicated Web site, www.avisagent.com, or by calling the Club Red hotline at (800) 5559RED.
