Avis Taiwan Partners with Taiwan High Speed Rail
Under the new partnership, Avis Taiwan opened six rental locations at Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR) stations.
Avis Car Rental in Taiwan entered a commercial partnership with the Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR) on March 8 to provide access to rental vehicles for travelers at its stations.
Avis Taiwan opened rental locations at six of the eight THSR stations, including Taoyuan, Hsinchu, Taichung, Chiayi, Tainan and Zouying (Kaohsiung). The addition of the six locations boosts Avis Taiwan’s total network to 20 service points.
THSR is a high-speed rail line that runs 200 miles along the west coast of Taiwan.
“Having these new locations in Taiwan is a fulfillment of our commitment to expand our global footprint and improve mobility within Taiwan since Avis launched operations last June,” said Patric Siniscalchi, Latin America and Asia Pacific Avis Budget Group president. “The HSR stations provide convenient pick-up points in Taipei for leisure and business travelers alike.”
