At this year's Business Traveller Awards 2014 in London, Avis Car Rental was honored as "Best Car Rental Company Worldwide" and "Best Rental Company in Europe."
The awards recognized Avis' customer service, says the company. Based on votes from readers of Business Traveller magazine, the votes were tallied by an independent market research company.
"Avis associates take great pride in making the travel experience outstanding, so we are delighted to receive this industry recognition," said Larry De Shon, president, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Avis Budget Group. "What makes these awards so special is that they have been voted for by genuine business travelers, customers who rely on Avis to support the success of their business. We're very proud to have won this award and are thankful to Business Traveller readers for their votes."
Awards were presented across more than 45 travel categories to some of the travel industry's biggest brands representing airlines, hotels, airports, train operators and luggage companies.
