Angela Margolit, president of Bluebird Auto Rental Systems, will deliver a seminar and workshop at the 2018 National Automobile Dealers Association Show (NADA).
Margolit will speak on how to run a successful courtesy transportation program, including providing checklists on processes, fleet, maintenance, contracts, and technology for dealers considering running a car loaning operation. The seminar will also cover case studies of successful retail vehicle rental operations and their practices.
The workshop will feature interactive learning sessions to teach attendees 12 customer-facing procedures, six fleet management techniques, and five ways to not lose money.
"This topic is important as most dealerships do not run their loaner fleet as profit centers, so they need to be run efficiently in order to avoid losing any money," Margolit says.
Margolit's seminar will be held on Thursday, March 22 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., and Friday, March 23 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Margolit was one of 50 speakers chosen among over 240 applicants to speak at NADA.
NADA is the largest annual gathering of auto dealers worldwide, with average attendance of about 20,000 people.
