For the second year, car rental broker Booking Group sent Christmas cards to children of its clients in the U.S., Canada and 115 other countries.
The children will receive personal letters from Santa Claus Village in Lapland, Finland. In the letter, they will find a postcard signed, sealed and sent by Santa himself before starting his big Christmas Eve ride.
According to Booking Group, the number of children receiving letters more than doubled this year — more than 20,000 children this year from 10,000 last year.
To receive a personal Santa letter, Booking Group clients had to fill out a form on EconomyBookings.com with the name of their children and the mailing address. Booking Group sent out the letters as a thank you to its clients for their business, says the company.
