Boy Asleep in Rental Car When Stolen
A six-year-old boy who was sleeping in his mom’s rental car when it was stolen has been found safe.
A six-year-old boy who was sleeping in his mom’s rental car when it was stolen in Clearwater, Fla., has been found safe, according to a report by CBS Miami.
While she went inside an apartment, Elizabeth Rivera left her son Theron Fields asleep in the rental car, Clearwater police told CBS Miami. When she came back outside, the car and her son were gone.
The car was later found nearby abandoned, with the boy still asleep in the back seat, police told CBS Miami.
Police are still investigating, according to the report.
